  • Using your fingers, mark the portion of hair below which you want to trim your hair, by holding it between your index and middle finger. Cut the portion of hair below the fingers with the help out scissors.

  • You now start trimming your hair from the top. With the help of your thumb and index finger, uphold a portion of hair by twisting it. Snip out this portion with the help of scissors. Do this throughout the scalp till you are satisfied with the length of your hair.
  • Use the above method for trimming hair from both the sides. You can be innovative in this portion and trim hair even shorter than the ones on the scalp.
  • The most difficult part is trimming hair on the neck line. You will have to use an electric razor or clippers to trim hair in this area. Start trimming from the neck and move in the upward direction, slowly. Keep an eye on the mirror to see how the trim looks.
